Launch day has arrived!

So the countdown is on… with less than 5 hours until the launch, temperatures are rising, pulses are racing, and almost all the Jandals team are taking a pre-launch nap. It’s a weird feeling, when you’ve wanted something so much for so long and finally it is just around the corner…. it’s almost anti-climactic, and yet it’s not, because I’ve been pacing round the room like a caged animal, and I never pace.

The books have arrived – they look amazing – and I’ve yet to find a spelling mistake. Yes Keith, even your name is spelt correctly now.

Right, must go have a manicure and pre-launch glass of bubbles to calm myself down. We will update you tomorrow post launch!

bring on launch time!

Here we are, 10 days out from the launch of Jandal Prints on the Globe. Actually it is 11 days for me because I am still in Europe on the Frankfurt Fellowship (and for those adventures you can see readingreneessance.wordpress.com). The lead-up has sped by and at last count I think we had presold a large chunk of the first print-run so it will be a record pace that we enter the second print-run! Thanks to Jane, Rachel and Scott who have been burning the midnight oil to get things organised whilst I am traipsing round the European publishing world and finding myself in the wrong country etc. (Typical Jandal Prints on the Globe activities!)

For those of you that havent RSVPd to the launch please do so.

And to everyone else, get your hands on a copy of Jandal Prints on the Globe as of 30^th October. It will be sold in all good (and some not so good) bookshops, but if your local bookseller hasn’t got it instock by 30^th, pester them and tell them it is a must.
